An essential and indeed marvellous collection of 400 Anglican Chants, by 92 frequently well-known composers. There are single, double, triple, and quadruple chants, and chants for men’s voices and chants of irregular length. This issue builds on the success of the first issue of Cantica Nova, the editor’s 1997 collection, and aims to disseminate chants that might otherwise go unpublished.
